Hollywood To Release Atlas Shrugged Part 1, Attempt To Profit Off Of Ayn Rand's Individual Creative Energy

Fun Fact: Director Paul Johansson is known for directing particularly uninteresting episodes of One Tree Hill.

Fun Fact II: To answer your question, John Galt  is actually Paul Johansson.

Fun Fact III: Fans of Ayn Rand probably weren't loved enough as children. Or loved too much.

After The Jump, another fun fact and a picture of what Ayn looks like now!

That's right, she's objectively dead.

Fun Fact IV: When Ayn Rand got lung cancer, she assumed a different name in order to receive Medicare treatments and otherwise live off the taxpayers.

Fun Fact V: Ayn Rand's views were inspired by a serial killer.

Fun Fact VI: Still, Ayn Rand made interesting  points about happiness.

  1. This upsets me. This movie clearly should have been set in black and white, in period in the 40s or 50s, with no new modern cars or whatever. All the libertarians wanking off to Taggart's big railroad are going to be really confused - are they supposed to support high speed rail or not?

And seriously, Jen/Kevin you posted your phone number on this blog?

  2. This upsets me. it should have been set in the forties, with no crazy new automobiles and whatever, and shot in black and white with classy looking people. Taggart should be more attractive. And republicans are going to watch this and think trains are super awesome, but then get really confused when Obama tries to put forth high speed rail amendments.

And seriously Filmspork wants text messages for dating requests? isn't okcupid enough for you guys?
